Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to book accommodation after the Padjelanta Trail?

No, we do not have any advance bookings in our cabin camps. This means that visitors will be given a place as they arrive. Advance payment is not a reservation, but everyone who comes will get somewhere to sleep.

Is it possible to call with a mobile phone along the Padjelanta Trail?

Ritsem, Änonjalme, Vaisaluokta and Kvikkjokk have cell phone coverage, but along the Padjelanta trail itself there is no coverage.

Is there electricity in the cabin camps?

No. If you want to be able to charge mobile phones and the like, we recommend that you bring a power bank with you. We cannot charge your power banks either.

Are there provisions to buy in the cabin camps?

Yes, the cabin hosts have a basic range for sale. To see the range in each cabin camp, click on each cabin camp’s page. At the end of the season, some products may be sold out. Be prepared that the provisions may run out, so bring your own provisions just in case.

Note! The provisions can only be paid for in cash.

Do we get a discount on the accommodation price if we are members of STF?

No, we are completely independent from STF and therefore cannot offer discounts to STF members.

Is it possible to pay by card?

Yes, since 2024 it is possible to pay by card in all our cabin camps.

Is there wifi in the cabin camps?

No, we do not offer wifi in any of our cabin camps.

Is there a cabin that is open all year round in each cabin camp?

Yes, there is always an open cabin in each cabin camp. There is also an emergency telephone in that cabin for emergencies and which is connected to the police. If you want access to the code lock cabin, you must contact us and pay in advance before you go to get the code.

How are the cabins heated?

All cabins are equipped with gas for heating and cooking, even those that are open all year round. Be prepared for the risk of running out of LPG during high load in the open cabins.
